For the third year in a row, on June 30, 2007 in the South Common of Lowell, Massachusetts a Block Party was held to bless the city of Lowell. In partnership with host church Community Christian Fellowship, various local Christian organizations united to offer a barbeque, pony rides, bouncing rooms, face painting, manicures, hair cuts, entertainment, prizes, and a massive giveaway of approximately 40,000 lbs. of food.  There was no charge for the event and 1,500 residents attended. The Block Party will be followed by "Caleb's Dream" a week long commitment by youth and young adults, ages 13 to 21, who will serve the residents in the city starting July 8 through July 14, 2007 by meeting basic needs and extending random acts of kindness.

Caleb's Dream was patterned after Chain Reaction founded by Matt and Katie Stevens, who with their family, brought the training and ministry of Chain Reaction to the city of Lowell in 2005 and 2006. Caleb's Dream was born after the Stevens' son Caleb, who at age 10, died in a car accident immediately following the event last year. Even at a young age, Caleb knew the value of serving others. "We are blessed to honor this young boy's memory.  He and his family helped us extend the love and compassion of God to the city in tangible ways", said Senior Pastor of Community Christian Fellowship, Raffoul Najem.

In the evenings Caleb Dream participants will gather at Community Christian Fellowship, 105 Princeton Blvd,, Lowell from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for a service which is open to the public. Pre-registration for adult training classes starting at 6:00 p.m. also available. The following churches and organizations served at the Bock Party and some will participate in Caleb's Dream: Community Christian Fellowship, CCF Street Church, Iglesia Christian Ebenezer AG, Living Waters Ministry of Hope, New Challenge, New England Pentecostal Ministries, Somebody Cares New England, Whole Armour International and International Family Church.
