In partnership with host church Community Christian Fellowship, and along with Chain Reaction, various local Christian organizations will participate in a week long local outreach to the towns of Lowell and Haverhill, Massachusetts. Starting on July 16 and through July 21, 2006 young people from the ages of 13 to 21 will serve the people of these two towns by extending random acts of kindness to meet the basic needs of local residents.
Each evening participants will gather at Community Christian Fellowship, 105 Princeton Blvd,, Lowell from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for a service which is open to the public. The week ends on Saturday, July 22, 2006, with a Block Party to be held in each city from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Each Block Party will offer a barbeque, fun for the children, pony rides, bouncing rooms, prizes galore, and a massive giveaway of 40,000 lbs. of food in each location. All festivities are free. Locations: South Common, Lowell, MA and GAR Park, Haverhill, MA.
The following churches and organizations join Community Christian Fellowship and Chain Reaction to share their compassion for these cities by uniting to extend the love of God in very tangible and beneficial ways: Iglesia Christian Ebenezer AG, Hosanna Gospel Center, Kaleo Christian Center, Living Waters Ministry of Hope, New Challenge, New England Pentecostal Ministries, New Life Christian Community, Somebody Cares NE, and Whole Armour International.
